What Is Silverix & Why Metal Posters
Where It All Began
Silverix started with one person — me.
I spent over 15 years in the hospitality industry in England, beginning in 2009 as a pot wash. Through long hours and constant pressure, I worked my way up to becoming an Area Manager, responsible for five restaurant branches.
From the outside, it looked like success.
On the inside, I was exhausted.
I had no experience outside hospitality, but the dream of owning my own business never left me. I kept asking myself: What can I do? What should I do?
The Idea
One day, I bought a canvas painting. I loved how it looked — but I hated damaging my wall. I loved sleek posters, but not nails, drilling, or commitment. That’s when one thought changed everything:

From Home, With Everything on the Line
I invested all my savings, took out a loan, and bought the equipment to produce metal posters. Silverix began at home — printing, pressing, testing, and learning everything myself.
My first order of 300 aluminium panels arrived at the wrong thickness. Over 200 pieces failed. I adjusted temperature, pressure, and timing, learning the hard way. It took almost a full year to achieve a quality I was truly proud of.
The Hardest Decision
With no marketing budget, no team, and few orders, I made the hardest decision of my life — I quit my stable, high-income job as an Area Manager.
For nearly another year, progress was slow. The stress was constant. But I never gave up.
Showing Up Anyway
I started attending AnimeCon and festivals alone — packing, printing, selling, and learning. Slowly, things began to change.
Where We Are Today
Today, Silverix runs on the same values it started with: care, precision, and persistence. Orders are packed every day. What once felt impossible is now real.
